Women's Track and Field Dominates as Hosts of Trinity College Outdoor Track and Field InvitationalPublished by
Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's track and field team put on a dominant display on Saturday at the Trinity College Outdoor Track and Field Invitational, the first college outdoor track and field event to take place at Trinity's Jessee/Miller Field in nine years. The Bantams were led by first-year Katie Marlow-Benedick (Weston, Mass.) who finished first in the 100-meter dash with a finals time of 12.73, just .03 seconds ahead of senior captain Katie Tonyai (Jaffrey, N.H.).
